...and the Comfort of Yellow

Aside from my kitchen I realize I don't have much yellow elsewhere in my home. There's just this old quilt...faded from too many washings, thanks to Mickey...but still a favorite. 

A Great Day to go Boating

The first day of October was one of those beautiful coastal days where the air is warm and pleasing to the senses. A perfect day to go boating.  There was very little wind and the water was unusually calm for early afternoon. It was the first time we had ever taken our dogs out on the ocean and Mickey,  our Tibetan Terrier, and Wiley, the Bouvier,  seemed to enjoy the ride as much as we did. Ah, it's been such a wonderful summer and a day like this is a perfect swan song for the season.
